Seattle - Philadelphia

Honestly, I'm not mad. With a team full of replacements on offense, surprised we even made it to the playoffs. Still love my birds, but MIKE GROH HAS TA GO

Love my Birds to but why? Peserson is the play caller. Our coaching staff is legit. Only so much you can do with the back ups to the back ups.
Groh just doesn't put together a good gameplan. Dougie P may call the plays, but that's Groh's gameplan and preperation. Plus, Groh regressed. I say take a flier on Kafka and make him ****ing game coordinator and make Duce running game coordinator. But that's just me.
I don't understand why we are calling for Schwartz head, though. I like him, I just think we ate one legit #1 CB away from elite status on the D.
But, for what we had, we did good.

eagles lost bc the defense specifically the pass d is **** poor. offense was good enough to win even with the replacements of the replacements.
Yeah, they need to revamp that secondary minus the safeties. Darby shouldn't be resigned, Mills playing out of position and should.be a FS, I like Maddox and Jones, but they are #2 & #3 corners. Need a legit #1 corner.

This is like UM fans *****ing about us letting a team score 17 and blaming the defense

How bout don't go 0-3 on TDs in the redzone and score more than 9

dunno if you watched the game, but they let a guy that knows 1 route of the route tree, a go route beat them.

Seattle is a flawed and injured team but they have had the most favorable playoff draw of any team I can remember. They will play back to back road playoff games against teams with a negative Yards Per Pass Attempt Differential.

I have never seen anything like that in the 25+ seasons I have followed the stat. I contacted several of my old Las Vegas friends tonight. None of them can remember it either. One said he would have believed it to be virtually impossible.

Simple reason: teams with a negative net seldom make the payoffs, let alone host playoff games. But this season we've had Houston (-0.8) and Philadelphia (-0.5) host games, and next week Green Bay (-0.5).

The bad news for the Seahawks is they are the only other team in these playoffs with a negative net, albeit barely at -0.1

Otherwise, I wish the Dolphins had drafted Dallas Goedert instead of Mike Gesicki. As Collinsworth said tonight, Goedert might be the best run blocker on the Eagles team. PFF rated Goedert as the best blocking tight end in the league. That is a vast difference from Gesicki, who is a liability as a blocker. Gesicki improved this season but Goedert is also a skilled receiver who can fill more of a traditional tight end role.

Stick Goedert by himself instead of sharing time with Zach Ertz and the receiving skill would be even more apparent. PFF rated Goedert as the 11th best player from the 2018 draft period.
