So, what did we decide was the final answer on everyone's vegas bets on miami over 9.5 wins for the season?

Bet is off due to the cancelled game and we get the original bet back?

Bet is on because they covered and can pay out the "overs" and collect on the "unders"

No idea what you're talking about, but I do have a question. In this whole amazing season, the only thing you've found worth posting about is the over/under for season wins? I'm not usually one to question the credentials of other Canes or make pronouncements about what a "real" fan does/doesn't do, but I'm baffled on this one. Seems like a fan who happens to have been lurking for the past 2 years might have been pleased enough to post about something a little earlier.

I think its an interesting point. What is Vegas's take on this?

One less game...does that enable you to void the bet?

I mean since the bet you would have put down was calculated on a set amount of games that just went down by one? So if you took the over or the house had the over...its a big disadvantage, especially since the missing game was against a cup cake sure thing type of victory?

Obviously if you had taken the over your very happy right about now.

i am.

Those bets usually say they must play the full schedule to have action.

Example from an online site:

(Note: Teams must play all their scheduled regular season games for action)

Kind of like when you nail the over by halftime, but the game gets shortened because of lightning. No action if it didn't go 55 minutes, even if you had the over already.

My brother handles the “paperwork”, but my understanding is all the win total bets got cancelled when the game was cancelled. We were ****ed at the time. But they don’t want to have to cancel the under bets while paying out the over bets, understandable. Still in at 88-1 on the other preseason bet though.
