OK, we saw Bryce Fitzgerald's INT and clearly the play before with Toure was a guy sacrificing everything he had for the team. But on our last drive CJ Daniels made two of the biggest contributions without any fanfare at all but I hope he is proud of his play because he helped spring Fletcher early in the drive on a 20 yd carry and he made the play that sprung the TD by Toney with that excellent block on the LBer, that play made the entire play work. And Fletcher's best play was not the 56 yd carry, 25 of which he was engaged with the defender, it was his talk with Toney on the sidelines after the fumble.

I gotta say that I have been rooting for the Canes since my freshman year in 1985 but I have never been more proud of a bunch of dudes wearing the U on their helmets as these kids/men. These are really good kids on top of great athletes, I have seen a lot over those many years but I have to give Mario a lot of credit here, these are really good guys and even the portal guys come right in and fit in seamlessly. This thing now has legs, its built for the long term based on what we are finally seeing now of the complete makeover of whatever that last 20 years was that was pretending to be Canes football, feel really good now about where this ultimately leads, Go Canes!

In a game this close legit every play seemed to be key. How about the defense limiting AM to only 12 yards when they got the ball on the 50 after the Toney fumble? Miami teams in the past fold right there. Because honestly if they got even 15 yards they are likely 4 down territory, instead they gave up 1 first down, then sack, run by the QB for his life to pick up 5 yards, sack. They punted from our 41 because 4th and 9 was too much to risk and our offense hadnt dont ****. Then instead of going 3 and out and having to punt giving them great field possession we march down the field for the winning TD
