Scott & Moten

DT pushing QBs off their spots. DEs that are likely a step faster (top end speed) to catch the moving QBs.

The concern IMO is the run game. Can we set the edge to funnel the RBs inside? If not, I'm not sure if our LBers have the speed to track down outside runners.

Notre Dame is the only team on our schedule who will be able to say okay we will try and run outside consistently.

What other team can do that considering our personnel and D Coordinator are elite?

Even in potential playoffs situations there's not too many teams that can just say we will run outside constantly on the Canes and beat them.

Blount and Wilson are both plenty big enough to set the edge. Then we have an extra year of Lightfoot and Scroggins and Pickett.

My biggest concern on the DL is the dropoff after Scott/Moten.

Davis and carter are better than Blay and simpson

Beyond quality, we have competitive depth now.

There will be no significant dropoff.
