we are still a team that needs adjustments and the weaknesses are obvious now. We need to fix our OL and running game and absolutely need to to run the table so two weeks to get ready. Jarren is still a legitimate QB even with all the pressure he is under. So, did we under estimate our opponent or are we broke. Probably both. The two TD drives were super impressive. Our running game pathetic and Hedley made one bonehead play plus Baxa got a second chance but needs to get his head on straight. If we clobbered them we'd be thinking all is well. Now our coaches have areas to improve. The OL is probably the toughest fix and I assume they can only use schemes to improve. Saturday was an anomaly because we are a much better team then what showed up. The biggest flaw was stupid penalties although the officials did not do us any favors (do they ever?). The call on Bandy was ridiculous. I sincerely expect the enthusiasm from our most recent ND type game when we play VT. I predicted a close game Saturday that they would eat up clock to keep the score close and that is what they did, I predict we dominate VT, a must win game for our season.

The things that bothered me was why were we having footing problems? Guys were falling down without getting hit. Why did Cam get so many carries and no Lingard or Burns, heck Murphy might have scored the TD easier then Dee Jay. We did not sub enough and we got tired whereas our depth should've worn them down. Shaq and Pink played every defensive down and special teams, can't fault them they played one of their best games stat wise.

Coaches have been reluctant to sub in any of our close games. On both sides of the ball.

A good staff doesn't spend the week congratulating themselves when they win big, they get to work fixing what kept that from being a perfect game. Which is to say, it doesn't matter if the fans pat themselves on the back...if these coaches are any good they won't spend more than a few hours celebrating even the best of wins.

How do we know that’s what they did? By all accounts, it appears that it was maybe the players that were doing that. Apparently, Wednesday’s practice was absolutely pathetic. That’s the sign of a weak-minded team that is full of itself thinking they can go out an win simply because they are more talented. It’s been a pattern in this program for a long time. We have some success, the players start to feel themselves then we **** the bed. Winning consistently requires that you don’t get complacent. You treat every opponent like it’s the #1 team in the country.

If you win 80-0 you have less issues than if you win 17-12 against a team that went 1-11 last year.
But since were playing the what if game, what if Miami hires a reputable head coach instead of a first year head coach like they have done the last 4 out of 5 coaches? Would we still be in this position?

If we won 80-0 we would know the coaches actually did something to prepare the team

So the coaches missed block, missed tackles, and dropped passes....the two times we scored it looked so easy the team expected every series would go that way.

Could’ve fooled me. He was however hired away from TEMPLE! Not a power 5 program, it was temple. My point remains Miami always hires the cheap guy, the “ up and coming” guy and earlier they struck gold but for the past 16 seasons it has bitten them in the rear and this is why our program is in the state it is. Manny is no different.

If we won 80-0 than my guess is a lot of the 💩 that’s messed up would have been fixed or improved.

We hire the cheap guy and then use Lincoln Riley’s salary as the comp for him. Bravo Blake James

Field conditions are usually poor at HRS.

Need our own stadium.

I have become very skeptical of Bye-Weeks when it comes to us. We actually look worse after a "bye-week". I have observed this phenomena over the last 15 years with us. Why do we look worse? I have no idea.

Because our players suck, and our corches suck more than our players...And our AD might suck the most. Anymore questions?

Do you know what coaches do all week before a game? Guess what they work on?
