Does anyone here really think that flying a banner is going to encourage a specific coach to come here?

I know we've been down...BUT a banner begging someone specific to come coach here just looks bad

IMO in makes us look sad, pathetic, and desperate. Not the look that a former championship program wants to convey.

The only thing missing then will be a commercial featuring Sarah McLachlan singing a sad ballad as pictures of sad crying players and fans are being displayed.

At best, it's free publicity for that specific coach raising his value in a $$ war we probably won't win. Especially with so many other high profile positions opening up.

At worse, it might make other possibilities that might consider us feel unwelcome
