According to Cane Sports , Santino Marchiol 2017 3* OLB from Colorado wants a UM offer.

The 6'3" 225lb junior linebacker seems like a solid recruit with an extremely high FBIQ which is a huge asset along with being a sure tackler who reacts quickly that has a nose for the ball. He already holds offers from Wis, FSU, UL, and Neb. Miami did pretty well with the Campbell brothers ( Calais & Jared) whom I believe were the last players UM took from Colorado. So going back to well a third time could be a good idea.

More slow kids he's no Dan Morgan don't insult Dan like this lol Dan was a manchild who could run like a deer and was super instinctive. This kid belongs at Wisconsin. Not um NEXT

No I am thinking more Luke Keuchley who plays with great instincts thanks to high FBI, the two players are very similar.

Meh... He's a decent player but not somebody we should be going after. Playing outside at a D1 level this kid will get tore up. Some of that competition looked a little iffy too.
 
I'd take. This kid gets coached up really well. He goes to Cherry Creek HS who employs Dave Logan now, former head coach of Colorado and national powerhouse Mullen High School. Logan coached Fines when he was in Colorado.

If you don't finish watching that film and think to yourself "this kid looks just like a Top 5 NFL linebacker" then you need to get educated.
 
Can someone accurately inform us on the origins of the last name Marchiol so we can draw the most accurate comparison?
 
Give me Deandre Wilder from Carol City and Guy Thomas from Columbus and close up that 2017 group of LBs.

I think you may be speaking about Jamie Gordinier moreso,then this young man in terms being a more Keuchley type player.
 
I'm still not high on this kid.


Doesn't run or hit like F'agot either especially when you consider the competition question for both.
 
I wouldn't be upset if we landed this kid, he does after all have a floor of brian urlacher, but I prefer wilder/steed

What the heck are some of you watching?!? With all due respect anyone that would compare that kid to Kuechly is out of their mind.

That kids not a player. No thanks. Looks slow and lacks agility. His best plays are when he lines up and tries to play like he's Von Miller...........and there's NO WAY he could play that type of role at Miami. To go looking in Colorado for a player like that is crazy.
 
When I watch Diego F-agot it is clear how fast he covering ground. Plus we need and should have a Latin kid to get all our SoFl Latin fans excited about. I can see them giving him a macho spanish name like El Asesinato. LOL
