CBS Sports college football analyst and radio host Brian Jones says there’s a “50-50″ chance Charlie Strong is coaching the Longhorns next season. If he’s gone, Texas plans on making another run at the Alabama coach, according to Jones.

The Longhorns will “break the bank” for Saban, per the report.

This could be the craziest off-seaon ever if Texas fires Strong, LSU fires Miles, UGA fires Richt, etc to join Miami, USC, SC and Mizzou already being open. That is a ton of big name jobs, and could result in even more jobs coming open at FSU, Texas A&M, etc.

Based on what's been said about him and his demeanor Saban is not a people person, he is a Saban person. It wouldn't surprise me to see him bolt Alabama for a bigger paycheck. Once he does he will be taking a huge risk ever again entering the state of Alabama.

Do you mean coordinators at FSU and Texas A&M

Is there any amount of that Texas can pay that Alabama wont match? Why would he leave the perfect spot for a train wreck?

There were rumors of Saban to Texas last go around. And just like last time, he'll say all the right things and end up with some leverage for another raise. At the end of the day I think he stays put.

They tried breaking the bank a couple years ago and nothing happened. Colts are also supposedly interested...
