I don’t think the playoff committee is making selections based off what he says- unless he is on the committee and giving input. But if he does, it worked out well last year as he said Miami should be in over ND.

Most of those dudes probably can’t stand him anyway.

If you don’t think the background noise has an impact on voters, who are only human, I don’t know what to tell you. Especially noise coming from someone who is extremely well respected in that industry and who is very knowledgeable about football.

As far as him picking us over Notre Dame, that’s a red herring. First of all looking back objectively, Miami was the logical choice over Notre Dame for anyone that had no stake in either, why would he go against that, it’s not affecting the SEC at all.
