I just hope losing Jarren is not our Ryan Perriloux moment. What an I’m talking about. Remember when LSU was riding high with Saban than Les Miles. Well Miles recruitied Perriloux to be the next start qb LSU. Perriloux was immensely talented and had a rocket arm. Well he ended up getting kicked off the team. LSU fans will tell you losing Perriloux was reason Les Miles ultimately got fired. For whatever reason he could not find a qb to save his life. The year Perriloux was suppose to start, the qb who did start for LSU threw an abnormal amount of pick-sixes. Because of that season with the pick-sixes Les Miles went ultra conservative and was fired. Losing Perriloux set LSU back years.

I just hope losing Jarren will have the same effect on us that losing Perriloux had on LSU.

I see you just joined, but we got set back years three times in a row now and it has nothing to do with players. It is our coaching. Sadly, Randy might have had the best staff of the last three HCs.

Set the program back years? What has the program been the past 15 years lol. It's been set back even more with this abortion.

LSU has never had a star qb haha

The POS the Raiders picked #1 overall. Or the guy who backed up Aaron Rodgers for awhile, threw 6TDs in a game, then stole millions in free agency.

Forget both of their names.

Perrilloux was supposed to start in 2007 but he refused to put in the work in the summer. He couldn’t be out Matt Flynn and LSU still won a NC.

Looking back, Perrilloux simply didn’t have the capacity for work to be a QB in a major conference. He could not digest film and was constantly late to meetings and practice.

Word you're absolutely right. Jamarcus Russell. What a waste of talent

Remind me what perriloux ended up doing after being kicked off? Did he go to another school and ball out? How did he do in the NFL?
