Run scheme

Not trying to **** on an offense putting up numbers like we are, but can someone explain time why we are only running between the tackles. I get physical football bro, I know that’s what Mario wants but is there any other reason why we haven’t tried to get Martinez or the other backs outside the tackles a little more often. Kind of like that toss VT gashed us with all night.

You answered your own question but just dont like the answer. Mario likes to run between the tackle and hope that extra large humans at point of attack can move other people but its not really working efficiently enough

No we can’t, it’s infuriating. Counters are setup perfectly with our mobile OL but very rarely used

There have been run concerns since game 1. I don’t know if it’s a lack of OL push, Dawson, Mirabal/ Mario..

But whatever it is. It isn’t working. 3 yards and a cloud of dust every run play. We have zero chunk plays. I’d like to see more Allen and Lyle. They have wiggle.

All the run plays are between the tackles with 8 guys bunched together in tight. I don't know what the **** they think they're doing. We're just running into a box with 16 guys in it.

It's called inside zone and Mario dreams of it every night when his head hits the pillow. We gain to many yards running outside. You might get in trouble when you break a 91 yarder to the outside on your own.

So we aren’t waiting to open it up ? Then the run game will get creative.

Need to have some more Cam designed runs and that'll open up both the run and pass game more.

Seems Martinez would benefit from a few counters or tosses, let him get some steam going before he makes contact.

We did, but would you argue we looked efficient? We couldn’t run for **** in the first half.

Nothing wrong with the inside zone, just want some variation.
