RPI Now 25 (5.4)

I would switch it up to give FIU hitters a different look and try to keep them off balanced. Going with Lumpkin would be a lazy approach which I have a feeling they will trot him back out there.
And your suggestion for a starter, if not Lumpkin?

Give Dorn, Collera and Cleveland some burn. Start Lumpkin and give others some innings.
Gotta give our 6-9 guy rotation some rest for the stretch run.

RPI Needs Report as of this morning (Tuesday) says 7 wins (18 ACC wins + FIU) to enter the ACC Tournament in the Top 32 and 5 wins (16 ACC Wins + FIU) to enter in the Top 45.

RPI Needs Report as of this morning (Tuesday) still says 7 wins (18 ACC wins + FIU) to enter the ACC Tournament in the Top 32 and 5 wins (16 ACC Wins + FIU) to enter in the Top 45.
****.
Grab 1 vs. NC St and take the series 2-1 at UVA.
We'll have to close it out by sweeping ND.

Oh...and beat FIU.

Lumpkin actually rose to the occasion and did well yesterday which is a great sign. Only guy I would give a shot for a mid week start would be Jackson Cleveland
I said to start Lumpkin....it would be nice to give some of the other guys in the bullpen some innings. We can't survive with only an eight man staff.
A telling stay, our team ERA is below 5! This is huge as it has really come down our last four ACC series.
I'm looking forward to our weekend series with the Wolfpack.

With this info, and in your opinion, any shot at Top 32 with 17 ACC + FIU if any other team(s) go sideways?

For sure. Even though it’s been pretty consistent with us, the Needs Report is more of a rough guide. If our past opponents (and their opponents) do well it could slide up, and if they do badly it could slide down. Plus, it doesn’t factor in the ACC Tournament because our opponents/number of games are unknown.

Thank you.
I got my butt off of this lazy chair and checked out the report. Knowing myself, this thing could be trouble.
I'll be keeping an eye on ooc teams like Southern Miss/Oregon, hoping for them to slip up to give us a better shot for the Top 32.

That said, I can't look this Needs report directly in the eye again for the next week or so....
I'll drive myself crazy.

So because of the recent run, there’s 0 chance he’s getting fired right?

I think there was a little chance before the run, I think the decision had been made to give him another year to put his roster together. With this run, it's below zero.
