How is this possible still? 4 different head coaches and we still don’t have enough to fill the 85 man.

I’m not following you. The reason we have a new coach is in part because the last one refused to fill the roster. Cause ... effect.

Honestly is that hard to fill an 85 man? Randy couldn’t, Golden couldn’t, Richt couldnt. Most people blamed it on the “cloud” during the golden regime.

Cmon man at least scan the first 10 recent threads posted

I have an even better question. How is LSU paying for all these top recruits and they just got exposed for doing shady business?

It isnt hard. But you have to try. Diaz gets it. Hence the portal. Richt didnt, hence the problems. Golden had sanctions. Randy just quit recruiting after ‘08.

I guess it’s tough. I dunno. I don’t have a good answer.

I think some of our depth numbers are improving, but filling the roster with the ‘Miami caliber player’ (whoever that is that we all want on the roster) and getting to 85 is tough.

We seem to have soooo maaaany players leave early (and yes, we see more cause we follow UM more), building to that number is tough.

25 per cap?

Yep.. no matter how players you have on your roster, or how many may drop out due to draft, transfer or dismissal, there is a cap on the number you can bring in each class... yes, you can get creative and bring as part of an adjoining class, but still it has to even out.

So a couple of more dropouts than usual can result in a roster less than 85.

The cloud and pending punishment was the biggest reason Golden couldn't get close to 85. As for Richt.... There are no excuses.
