Rooster Byke!!

Cam's stats for the year are 51 carries for 272 yards for a 5.3 yards per carry average 3 TDs and a long of 51. If we take out CCSU his stats are 41 carries for 172 yards and a 4.2 yards per carry average and 1TD with a long of 19 yards. If we take out APP ST. and count only Bama and MSU his stats are 23 carries for 81 yards for a 3.52 yards per carry average and 0 TDs with a long of 15 yards.
Ty sir @puertorricane

And I didn't even have to look this up and figured he was bad vs top comp

Would love to motion knighton out of the backfield and use in the pass game. Give the QB a chance to read the defense as well

Our running "attack" will consist of Cam Harris running head first into stacked fronts for gains that average about 1.7 yards. Rooster will be back to use his speed, elusiveness, pass catching prowess and game breaking ability in space to get 5 carries that will consist of forcing the inside zone against tite fronts expecting the inside zone. This will result in 1 of his 5 carries going for 20 yards because Knighton bounced it outside with the rest being stuffed at the LOS. We wont see Brown or Franklin because we will be down 31-17 midway through the 4th quarter which is when Lashlee will finally realize that the running game isn't going to work and he decides that it's time to open up the offense.

After the game Diaz will say that the film study suggested that we would have success running the football against Virginia but they came out in fronts and alignments that they had never shown before. He will then go on to say what a great underrated defense Virginia has. That Virginia defense will then go on to be thoroughly sodomized by Louisville and Duke the next 2 weeks for a combined 1200 yards of total offense and over 100 points. That is all.
Please post the winning Powerball numbers for 09/30/2021 and who wins the Thursday night nfl game since you can see into the future

So take away all his stats except vs Bama.
Lol what were the other RBs stats vs Bama.
MSU?

I know our OL is bad but looking at him as a next level prospect from a UM caliber stand point.....he isn't it.

And u will see what I'm talking about in the NFL production proof.

Having Cam play as much as he does is identical to Gurvan Hall playing- an overrated, serviceable player.

Just like we always go back to referencing Gurvan’s offer list, we always go back to referencing Cam’s straight line speed and his competent pass blocking.

But he can’t hit holes, he likes to run along the LOS instead of upfield, and doesn’t make anyone miss.

His YPC would be atrocious if you took out the few plays against the UAB’s and CCSU’s of the world where there was a giant hole and he just didn’t get caught from behind.

Cam's big game? His big game against a glorified high school team? For Cam to get back into the good graces of the fans he is going to have to have big games against P5 opponents with a pulse. Tonight against Virginia would be a great place to start. Virginia has a terrible defense but hold on for second. This offense has picked up the bad habit of making mediocre defenses look like the 85 Bears especially when it comes to running the football. Once we show that we cant run, the job of any competent DC becomes fairly simple especially considering our limited route tree with King at QB.
I was talking about Cam's big game tonight against UVA. Like I said - everyone is going to have a big game on offense tonight, so if Cam has 2 good back to back games, will the opinion of him shift back?

Cam has been the same RB his entire career - but how the fans feel bout him has been a wild ride. Remember - he was better than Homer & Deejay as a Freshman. At this time last year, people swore he was one of the best RB's in the country and were unwilling to hear any different. I'm interested to see how it plays out.

As far as QB - I know this. They're going to have ALL DAY tonight - so I sure hope they look good. The UVA pass rush is comically bad.

Here's Wake's 1st Quarter TD pass - look at the right side of their line just standing there with nothing to do. So you might assume everyone's in coverage, right? Wrong. Look how open the WR is. If you think our Defense is bad, wait until you see UVA tonight.

People only thought Cam was better than Homer and Deejay on this board because he was the shiny new toy, like always. Once he started actually playing football, it was pretty evident to anyone with a clue that he's a very good athlete with exceptional straight-line speed and looks like a body-builder, but he has zero wiggle and not a lot of quickness. If you allow him to take a few steps, he's REALLY fast. But he has basically zero shiftiness or short area quickness. In a phonebooth, he's tackled 100 times out of 100. If you open a hole for him, he can get through it quickly because he's one of these 22 MPH kids. But he's a terrible fit for this offense because, with this OL, they don't get you much on their own. You have to make a man miss to get into the 2nd level, much more often than not. This is why I'm hoping Rooster can provide a spark, because he's got way better feet than Cam. Maybe he can make a guy miss. Cam cannot unless he runs away from him. He can't use his feet to make guys miss.

No question Cam has been bad vs P5 this year.

But you have to admit, he's doing an incredible Mark Walton impersonation. Question is, can he be as bad as Mark Walton was vs P5? Can he maintain this Walton-esque pace the whole year?

Smart money is on NO. He's off to a great start, but it's really difficult to be as bad as Mark Walton was vs P5 teams. The odds are stacked against him.

I understand and I'm looking forward to the game tonight. I'm curious to see just how bad this UVA defense is and most importantly if we can exploit them accordingly. Also I wanted to make it clear that the last part of my post(not part of your quote)was not directed at you personally. It was meant as a general statement and directed at no one in particular.

While i am glad Rooster is back i look back at last year and wonder just how much he helps with the running game. He did not really show out last year but some of it was Lashlees play calling but then he has the same OC calling plays this year so why would we expect greatness this year

All good - I'm definitely not taking anything personally. Same thing for me - hope my post didn't come off like I was coming at you or anything.

I watched the last 2 UVA games, and I just don't see how our offense, doesn't put up big numbers. UVA gets no push up front, and even when only rushing 3, WR's are running wide open in their Secondary. That being said - I agree with you that we play down to our competition way too much, so watch me be completely wrong tonight.

Will he get quality reps tonight, or will we be watching Harris dance before tripping over the field paint?

Is not about the NFL, Chaney who everyone wants to replace Harris didn't have a good day vs Bama either.
Harris is serviceable and people act like he's a scrub and the guys behind are all americans.

I have no doubt we will make them look like the 85 bears

I have no doubt we will make them look like the 85 bears
WF's first 7 drives vs UVA = 4 TD's & 3 FG's (then 3 punts their last 3 drives)
UNC's 11 drives vs UVA = 8 TD's & 2 FG's (1 INT, 0 punts)

In the last 2 games, opponents have scored on 17 of 21 drives. We're gonna light them up
