What do you think the SEC commissioner will do if the #1 seated SEC team gets left out of the CFP because it played an extra game? SEC has all the power. If Bama is inside the top 10 today, they will stay there regardless of result, the only possible way they get moved if it is a blowout and even then I don't see it

If they lose they can drop back but they wont let Bama get knocked out completely. Byu losing I think helps us. And ultimately we gotta hope the committee sees more value in us being in the dance vs some fugazi Duke or Uva squad.

Bama is 10 right now. If they were top 5 I would agree. If they were top 8 and lost a close game I would agree. If Georgia beats them by 14 + they will drop below us in my opinion.

The SEC is the master of game rigging. IF Alabama loses, it will be in a classic, hard fought battle that you just can't punish them for.

If Georgia dog walks them, I'd be shocked. All Alabama needs to do is play a close game. Georgia will be fine with that, as they are in regardless. This is how they rig it.

Not in a 12 team playoff.

They’ve said several times in the past that a CG loser, who’s in the playoff before the CG, won’t be pushed out.

They even kept SMU in the playoff after losing to Clemson.

Everyone fell last year
Smu lost a home game but yes they were high enough to not fall out
Bama at the last spot will not be
