Btw this isn't 2007. DTs aren't nearly as valued as they used to be. Only 4 DTs were drafted in the 1st round in the past 3 drafts combined.

We're encouraging people to leave to be 3rd round draft picks now? Man have times changed. Remember when Leinart stayed at USC because he wanted to be a top 2 pick and not a top 5 pick?

Technically true but it's partially been poor crops and partially that run stuffing defensive tackles slide into the second round while the more disruptive types still can go early. I've seen 3 or 4 of the 2018 defensive tackles rated among the Top 32 on many boards. McIntosh is nowhere to be seen near the top. He's often in the 15-20 range among defensive tackles although I do think that's somewhat low for him.
