Off-Topic RIP to UM alum Ray Liotta

Yup. The Rock is not our first movie star. 2 of our alumni starred in Copland together. Liotta and Stallone.

How am i funny? What the eff is so funny about me? Am I a clown? Am i hear to amuse you? What the eff is so funny about me. Tell me!

Sad. Did he graduate from Miami, or just spend some time there? No that it matters much.

RIP…

Whenever a UM legend dies, it should be on the main football page even if he didn't play UM football. Liotta is probably in about 15% of all gifs on this website so that should qualify as football related.

I think his last two movies that I saw were No Sudden Move and The Many Saints of Newark.

I recommend both movies, and I thought his performance was excellent in both. If you haven’t seen them, give them a shot.

Notable in the Sopranos prequel The Many Saints of Newark, was that he had a dual role, as he played two completely different type of personalities, which showed his acting range.

Both are available on HBOMax.
