The Florida Gators are 6-4 (4-4 in the much tougher SEC) with a signature win against #11 Georgia.

The Miami Hurricanes are 6-5 (3-4 in the very weak ACC, 6th place in the Coastal Division) with a signature win against an unranked Duke team.

Will Muschamp gets fired.

Al Golden will still be here next year.

Unbelievable.

Florida, hands down. Muschamp beating Georgia, on the road, is a greater accomplishment than anything Golden has done in his four-year tenure here.

Golden and Muschamp have identical 28-20 records at UM and UF, respectively. Florida's getting rid of their coach, but I assume we're keeping ours because of the incompetent, apathetic, cheap administration that appears to be intentionally torpedoing this program.

Not to mention that the Golden slurpers constantly experienced schadenfreude at Muschamp's expense, failing to realize an even worse coach was ruining our beloved program right before their eyes. They were, and in some cases still are, blind to it. Utter morons.

This. And Uf has a real AD

Plus little Willie might get another signature win. I can dream can't I?

UF is the second largest generating money producing team from athletics. They usually flip flop with Ohio State, and only follow Texas generally. Miami is somewhere near the bottom. We would be screwed right now if it wasn't for ACC revenue sharing.

Miami the University has money, but most of that is tied up in academics and not from athletics.

One thing that Folden is right about is that UM has one of the best brands in all of college football. Its the school's own fault for not making a commitment to that brand and milking it for all its worth.

Probably the best use of "schadenfreude" I've seen in a long time. Classic.

Muschamp was also an unlucky fumble away from being undefeated #1 or #2 and playing alabama in the sec championship. who knows what would have happened in that game. and if they got lucky and beat alabama (probably not) they almost surely would have beaten notre dame and won the whole f***ing thing. and UF smartly just fired his ***, yet we're treating golden like some charity case. its pathetic

Al Golden is barely capable of beating ACC teams, although his teams are usually much more talented.
If Golden was in the SEC, he would never win a conference game. Literally.
Muschamp > Golden
