Him coming out and announcing Rosier as the starter today after that performance tells us what we all don't want to hear which is he ain't going anywhere and has complete support of the important people. The comments he is making are those of a guy that isn't feeling any pressure whatsoever as like Golden is putting all of the blame on "the players not executing" compared to anything he or his staff are doing. He looked the cameras right in the eye saying "we are calling the plays we are confident in because we believe in them" That is the politically correct way of saying "my system works, it has for years and the players gotta start doing better". Throw out all of the tangible data with Malik's 1-6 record against P5's, 89th ranked offense, averaging 13.5 points the last two games against unranked teams, Richt is too invested into his system and will continue to do so because he holds all of the leverage being the highest paid coach by far in program history, donating to the IPF and securing his extension after year two. He played his hand perfectly and now is throwing two middle fingers at the players, the fans and the university.
