MR is who we thought MR was. I said when he was hired that if we expect 2-3 loses per year, then we got our man. The loss at LSU, anyway you look at it, is ALL on MR. Diaz can't coach defenses effectively. If he did he would have been the latest DC at Alabama. His other coaches are mediocre!... UGA let him go because they knew he was done, and we convinced him to come back. Why? Look at what Kirby Smart has done at UGA in those 3 years. I said this day 1 and you guys proceeded to grill my butt for it. Look at my historical posts. I hate to be proven correct for my blood bleeds Orange and Green. Don't get me wrong, there isn't a finer man than MR out there, but he just can't take a Program to the next level. When I see Saban, Meyer and other top level coaches next to him, then you clearly see the coaching hunger/differences. Don't point the finger at the bag m$n for MR also had deep pockets at UGA. Two straight blowouts and four loses in a row, and we are an improving Team?? I wish we would have hired Butch Davis. He was very hungry for an opportunity. His Teams always progressed and don't remember them getting blown out regularly like we are now. Didn't we fire Golden for similar results? I will predict here and now that if this crap continues, MR will resign at year's end.... So much for looking forward to a great season!!

Very astute observation! You are probably one of the ones that grilled my butt three years ago. An English major just like Saban and Meyer.

All on Diaz?? Did you catch the nOffense and special olympics teams kicking?

He isn't resigning. He isn't going to leave all that $$$ on the table. Coaches make a school fire them and then they walk away with whatever the buy-out package is. Like Al Frauden, he is here for at least another couple of years. Too bad.
He is a better recruiter than Golden Boy so I expect the next coach will have a pretty good squad to work with. Jarren Williams, in year 3, might be very good. (assuming he get's good coaching)

I wish we were running Richt's old classic power offense from Georgia. Those little play action dips are hysterical in this offense. Like the LSU coach told ABC prior to the game...no middle of the field passing game at all. Either RPO finesse or deep flails down either sideline.

It seems like every offensive coach we find loves that V passing attack where the middle of the field is forbidden.

Maybe the middle of our practice field is always flooded. I'm running out of reasons.

Roiser can’t hit an open receiver running across the middle. At least not consistently.

Just curious, besides Saban and Meyer, who are all the other “top level” coaches who never lose more than 2-3 games?

I had a bad feeling about Richt’s playcalling after his first 3 calls. Deep down I knew we were ****ed. We only had success on deep plays when we got insane catches. Can’t move the chains for ****, LSU was licking their chops.
