I know, another Richt thread that points out he's at best a mediocre OC. But this stat was brought forward today and I feel deserves its own thread so it doesn't get lost in the shuffle.

He’s not a mediocre OC. He’s a bad OC. Mediocre would be a wild improvement. A mediocore OC wouod be winning the coastal. At least.

Note the term "at best" meaning, on his best day he's simply just below average. Consistently, he's bad though.

It’s fuvking pathetic and truly shows his ancient offense won’t work in today’s college game. Even though FIU got a spank down versus FAU, their offense showed modern concepts and ability. They just had a walk-on trying to lead the offense. Now imagine putting Perry or Williams in that same offensive philosophy and watch what they could do then? I’d bet without being a bettor that we’d put up at least 30-35ppg. Couple that with a still Top 25 defense and we have a miraculous makings of a Top 15-20 football team. Wow, go figure this concept must be WAY over Pastor Richt and Boy **** Jon’s heads. They would actually have to modernize and develop players.

Oh, and Boy **** Jon’s days of getting a free handout will be done after this crap show is finished. He’ll never coach D1 college football again. I hope he’s saving up that exorbitantly high salary of his cuz the days of making 6 figures will be over soon. I hope he made Poppa proud.

must say this speaks a lot to Richt's qb acumen that the team he's tied with for least offensive production is lead by a qb he was recruiting for most of last year. Coincidence perhaps?

At least Rutgers can conveniently use the talent excuse given that every Power 5 team they go against, actually out recruits them by a significant margin. Miami, not so much.
