Richt and some thoughts

Listened to his radio interview with Richt and he seemed emotionless and somewhat incoherent at times explaining what happened in the game. As a Cane fan I'm concerned he doesn't have the goods, passion, and understanding of the game TODAY. Instead of coming out with an upbeat offense he plays a lackluster predictable offense and before you know it we were taken to the shed for a beating. Instead of coming out at half with a sense of urgency it was just the opposite as if we had a 3 touchdown lead. He told Rose we were in the game up until 5 minutes left in the game and he is either delusional or doesn't have a pulse for the game. I think it's the latter. We are in a tailspin of 4 straight games and for the most part the team has been FLAT. Numerous penalties which a sign of a poorly coached team. He hired his son to coach the QB's and none of the freshmen seem ready ( according to Mark) and the fifth year senior has digressed. Our special teams were not special and I believe his loyalty to players is his downfall. With all our weapons we should be scoring 50-60 points a game like many other high quality teams. Instead we struggle to make first downs and can't convert a 3 down. When you have a team a team with blown assignments, missed tackles, opportunities gone awry, and stupid penalties you MUST look at the head coach. I hope he corrects these flaws quickly and gives EVERY FRESHMEN QB a chance to perform. Seems to me that with all our talent at wide receiver and running back we should have the top QB's dying to play here. Quite an indictment on his recruiting the past 2 plus years that no one can dethrone Rosier. We have way too much talent to play like we do. Coach Richt needs to stir the pot and wake up. Better game plans and attach defenses rather than play passive. For the ones on here who constantly bash the QB Burrows from LSU I say he won and didn't make any mistakes. NEWS FLASH- Coach Ed Orgeron out coached Richt by a mile but many think he is a horrible coach. THINK AGAIN! If I was Richt the smart thing is to sit down Rosier and let the other three play. This game will be a total blowout and we already know what kind of QB Rosier is. It not about hurting feelings but winning games and putting the best product out there. THE CANES FANS DESERVE MUCH BETTER !

Stop piling on. We got the L, it sucks. This is getting ridiculous. It's nearly hump day, and a game is round the corner.

I'm very much looking forward to the season and another ACC Coastal Championship.

Relax it’s game 1 with 11 more to go, after FIU we’ll be 3-1, you don’t panic until we at least see whos starting at QB against UNC & FSU, & even then we’re talented enough to not drop those games, unless Rosier is still our QB, and is playing atrocious...to much talent to drop less than 2 games, plus I wouldn’t read too much into what he is saying, it’s just coach talk and he’s just monotoned af, listen to his Russell Athletic Bowl press conference, you wouldn’t be able to tell that he just won a bowl game.

Richt makes 5 million. He deserves to be piled on.

The Canes fan base has been fooled yet again. Richt is a fraud. He doesn't have a clue what to do with talent. Sorry Canes Richt will put the final nails in our coffin. We are DEAD.

Go look at richt’s interviews from when he first got to UM. He was relaxed, confident, direct, enjoying himself, joked around, etc. now he seems stiffer, talks in coach speak, fundamentally less confident.

Hmm. I'm not going to jump on the bandwagon just yet however what you pose in interesting to a degree. I think its premature to get out the #FireMarkRicht banners, grab the pitchforks and torches and burn this mutha down HOWEVER I wonder. Did FSU and UGA get the best years out of Richt? Is this what he is now? I don't know we'll need more time to discover this. I think we're heading in the right direction due to Richt however we need more. A capable OC/QB coach who can recruit would be the first and foremost. To be honest I think some hesitation as to firing Richt comes from this: Who else is there? Who else understand culturally what "Florida Football" and the Flordia Football mentality is to keep our players home? Golden didn't. This is why we're stuck with Rosier. He has no business playing D1 ball for anyone honestly. Who would be better than Richt? Who is out there? I would go with Brent Venables in a heartbeat but would he leave Clemson? Would he keep Dugans from going to FSU? The Paradise Camp was a genius idea and I don't want to lose that in getting another coach. Entrenching the idea of Miami football in the minds early to pluck them later on. Only a dude from "da crib" that understands the culture gets something like that. South Florida Football is special, we all know that. I would LOVE to have Lane Kiffin as an OC but I suspect he's going to do a Schnellenberger and build that program from the ground up. He will become a GOD when he gets FAU to UCF status. I believe he will lifetime contract to "architect" that program as he sees fit. He's the king of the castle and will not leave to play second fiddle to anyone. Florida is a crazy place and he's right at home with his off brand personality. Also, us as Canes fans have to realize what he are up against. We're in the Era of the "Mega School Corporations" in terms of support, money and facilities. For a private school, UM honestly has no business competing against high power"Corporate" programs suchs as Bama, Ohio State, Texas A&M etc. Those are BIG money places. The football programs are like schools within themselves. What keeps us alive is legacy, being in a talent rich area, and florida football mentality. For a private school, we've done extremely well given the circumstances. So I get what you're saying but from a realistic standpoint, if not Richt then who?

Well op cmr doesn't look energetic like before.after last Sun game the whole team should feel that away.there's two ways to handle this first one is buckle up do the job you are expected to do.or run and hide yourself hope it goes away.this team better come our super mad and play each play of every game as if it were our last play forever.

He digressed on his reads, that's why he was late with the ball all game...he was too busy dodging D linemen since our O Line is trash...Lmao...give the dude a break, we both know he meant regressed, but one could make an argument for a digressing rosier as well.

To be fair we kind of were, down 16 In the 4th with 6 mins to go and 3 timeouts, a comeback was possible, UCLA was down 44-10 and won, so it was definitely possible but you know Rosier is going to Rosier...

How many times have we won the coastal? Seems to me if you've only done something once before, doing it a second time in a row is still a step forward no? We aren't getting by Clemson, nor were we ever going to do so in 2018.

Winning the Coastal has been the only logical goal this season.

That doesn't change just cause we got the big fat sloppy L shoved in our *** by LSU.

CIS porsters have these strange illogical expectations coming into the season and get way too high. Did anyone actually think we were in contention for the playoff with #12? Please. Now they come crashing back to earth and reality and can't take all the disappointment from their unrealistic expectations. So now we got dude in here acting like a teenage girl on her first period. Moody and lashing out in all directions. Reduced to criticizing a **** radio interview of all things. Maybe the guy is tired cause he's been putting in extra work? Seems like this is a ridiculous complaint. Coach is here to win games, not satisfy your radio interview requirements. Sorry he's not up to par, boo f*cking hoo.

You fellas gonna start complaining about Richt's hair next? I don't like it. That's not a winners cut.

I wanna win games. I wanna beat FSU. I wanna smack VT at their house. I wanna crush pitt and right that wrong. I wanna accomplish the only realistic goal in 2018 and win the coastal. If coach can't do that, then it's on my hitlist he goes.

For now, there's a game in 3 days and I wanna enjoy it. Life is short. This should be fun. This should bring joy to our short lives, and not misery.
