Tonight was encouraging. I especially like when they talked about how up or down, he keeps his foot on the gas. TD on 3rd and 12 was perfect. That said, calm the fck down. Lets not promote him and give him a contract extension quite yet. I've seen coaches do more than get us through 2 games and later sht the bed in epic fashion. Not being a mope, just saying slow down and enjoy it for what it is.

We’ve always had the players to be that “open” because we’ve always had the talent even in these lean years. We haven’t had the proper personnel to put the right game plan together for the talent we’ve had.

Plus it completely flew over my head Rhett Is from the Gus Malzahn tree. Like he played for him in high school and coached under him in college. Gus is a **** of an offense coach. Rhett has been learning under him since he was a teenager. We’re good. We were worried about keeping Dan, it’s Rhett who we have to beg.
