Per Morris on the pregame, Reyes is out for 5-6 weeks with a broken thumb. He's having surgery Friday. He'll miss approx 25 games including the series against UVA and UNC. His return would be around the Clemson series.

Brother - this program is in such a funk right now. And as I am writing, I see that Mediavilla is off to one of his "can't get anyone out" innings tonight.

Might as well call it a wrap for 2018 for Reyes. Missing 25 games is crushing. When he comes back he won't be sharp with the bat. Realistically, probably take another 2 weeks seeing live pitching.

Sucks. He was having a great year. Another reason you never want to slide head first to first base and the other bases if at all possible.
