any shot theres interest on either side , he's proven so im sure the new administration/boosters/BOT would atleast make a not so insulting offer lol .

Sell him on

getting full on control of the show so he can prove he's still head coaching material , and not just a coordinator

no state tax

great recruiting area so he doesn't have to go overtime trying to flip new jersey prospects

And easy turn around perception i.e anything over 6 wins would be considered forward momentum

I would not mind seeing him hired. Our defenses would be something else, but the current administration is intact. So, there is not a whole lot of hope any changes happen anyways. The admin has proven they do not care about football like they tend to repeat they do. They've never heard actions speak louder than words.

Lol he's been living in NYC for 6 years. I don't think Miami would be a difficult adjustment considering Miami is like 1/8th the size and half as liberal.

Rex can't identify talent for ****. I'm a Jet fan. His defensive scheme is overrated without a HOF CB (Revis) or S (Reed).

And finally, he knows literally nothing about offense or the QB position, and could care less about it.

What does that have to do with his coaching ability? What a dumb **** you are.

I would welcome him in a heartbeat. He's going to be coaching in the NFL next season though.

Can you keep all your politics off this board? I do not care about how conservative or liberal a coach is. His job is to win, **** I would take the devil as a coach if he can win a few National Titles
 
We wont have a chance at signing Rex. He'd have to be available next yr. We all need to accept that we are not getting a new coach until next season. You should be focusing on how to get Golden out of here. This season sets him up perfectly to get 9 wins next year and pretending we improved SOO much.

No chance in **** we win 9 games next year. FSU, Clemson, Va Tech, Pitt, and Nebraska.........that's 5 losses right there. We're simply not a good football team. That's not gonna change with the current staff..
 
Rex Ryan would be a great hire our D would be great, I think his brother would be a great college coach also. With this new playoff system and salaries going up your gonna see alot of these NFL coaches opt for college football.
