Redwine's First Press Conference as a Brown

Much respect for Redwine, and the way he repped his Canes.
To mention, (more than once) and show deep feeling for S T., the way that he did, shows that he is reaching for the mantle, that is held by the best Safety of all time that played in the League.
Redwine is Classy, smart, and well spoken.
I know that Manny, and all the Coaches, are proud of one of their guys being so complimentary, about our program.
They got a Cane in the house.

As a lifelong Steelers fan (past 43 years) it is painful to see the accumulation of Canes on the Browns, especially some true favorites like Njoku and Duke, and now Redwine. And to make matters worse, the one and only current Cane on the Steelers just had his 5th year option declined, and Sean Spence suffered basically a career altering/ending injury. So whereas I will still root for the Steelers over the Browns, I will root for Duke and Njoku to have success and for the rest of the team to be terrible.
Fantasy football mentally prepares us all for these mental gymnastics.

I wonder how much revisionist posting should occur now that Redwine was the first Cane drafted. Methinks there was a bit of crow for dinner in these parts.

Herb Waters and Anthony Chickillo.

Make that money, young man. When they announce him on tv, he should have the whiteboard. “The U”

So happy for this kid! He's repped The U at every turn and making it his business to get under Ed's wing. Can't ask for more that that at this point. I hope he turns Cleveland upside down!
