Epic, I think I lot of these South Florida recruits will see just how much they actually like Miami when watching these games and seeing how much they are naturally rooting for them.

You can continue to follow the team with whatever lens you want. But for the first time in 20 years we are a True Contender, have the hardest working coach in the NCAA, an incredible NIL program and local stars turning into first round picks while becoming household names by being featured on major networks.
I choose to believe that these things will make the local recruits stay home and let me tell you after the last 20 years its a much more enjoyable way to follow along. Try it out!

im ina group along with some other posters in here with all the south florida coaches, parents etc......
this thought process has already been sprouted since two weeks ago after we beat txam.
some of the posters posted now we can keep guys like nick lennear home,,,etc....
bunch of parents posting BS about "why should kids HAVE to go to Miami or stay home". Typical s.fla cess pool hate, sour grapes sh*t cause UM didnt recruit their son or "nephew" sh*t ....worse it was a WOMAN who was the first one with this comment.
Yall know im a s.fla guy.....BUT I DONT GIVE A FLYIN F*CK. They dont want to come.....on to the next. We didnt lnd CJ Russell and iw as on here telling yall Somaurian Wingo WAS THAT GUY. CONTINUE TO RECRUIT NATIONAL.....

Some of the best canes to ever don a uniform for us weren’t from south Florida and we lost recruiting battles for local kids who simply wanted to see new things
One thing about Mario and this staff they don’t care where your from if you got talent and can play he’s gonna recruit you… dunnigan from Kansas looks legit, Paris is from Ohio (I think?), Cantwell from Missouri, etc…
Like you said though really wish we would hit Texas harder I know we would do well

Back when we had South Florida on lockdown in the early 2000s we still pulled in the below who werent even from Florida:

I am sure that I am forgetting a bunch of players from that time frame and that doesnt even take into account any from prior/after that timeframe.
