Have we ever had a NSD where nobody considering other schools picked Miami.

I can't remember not even getting 1 player on NSD that was deciding?

Hope I'm wrong but I don't see anyone leaning our way

Not sure if serious

Of course he is. Back in 1968 the live announcements were quite the event. Although they didn't select hats, they selected ties. I'll never forget Steve Spurrier spitting on the Miami tie.

LeSean McCoy's signing came outta left field. It was pretty surprising. Of course he never played here...but that NSD signing was a surprise.

We got Tracy Howard.

I believe OP is asking if we've ever had a signing day where nobody announced for Miami.

The OP is asking if there was ever a NSD where no kids picked UM (besides those already committed). The answer is no, and I doubt that happens this year. It just wont be who we all want.

I think 2005 was like that. McCoy verballed to Miami on signing day but it was known he's be going to Prep and most thought that commitment would never stick.

2009 we got Billy Sanders and Luther Robinson on signing day, but they were not the national names we're hoping for this signing day.

I think this signing day holds a lot more potential than those years, which were pretty non eventful.
