Just finished watching season 1 of the Netflix series QB 1.

I definitely recommend it to anyone that wants to find out more about Martell, but also just to see some Canes ball out. Bubba Bolden and Brevin Jordan were both highly featured. Every single time they showed a big play on defense for Bishop Gordan it was Bubba either intercepting the ball or making a big hit. It also appears that he is Tate's best friend during his senior year as they were featured together a ton off-the-field throughout the series. Brevin Jordan was not featured too much on camera, but it seemed like every touchdown pass Tate threw was to Jordan or the UCLA QB that was a receiver during Tate's senior season. There were some ridiculous catches and runs by Jordan shown.

Some things I noticed about Tate after watching the series:

- He is a Johnny Football and Baker Mayfield type QB in every way (on and off the field)
- He is short, but really quick
- Loves to scramble around in the pocket and make throws on the run
- He is the type of QB that may make some mistakes by trying to do too much
- You will see him scramble around and throw a ball where he shouldn't, but you will also see him scramble, somehow avoid the sack, and make a throw that you will see on SC top 10
- He is most definitely a true duel threat and the majority of the clips were of him running
- He is extremely confident and can come off really ****y
- He talks smack with the best of them and you can say he takes it too far some times
- At one point he said he wanted to burn the Texas flag when they were playing a school in Texas and he purposely didnt shake hands with an opposing team prior to the game
- Not to mention he apparently tweeted (or had a friend tweet) in the middle of the game against the texas team "Texas Who??"
- Now as the season goes on he apparently was told and learned that he had to calm down and you see him stay off social media and let his game do the talking
- The most important thing I saw, though, was even though he may act like that to the opponent he NEVER disrespected his teammates or his coaches
- This was not like Henry in Last Chance U where he cursed everyone out and would always fight with his coaches
- You dont see him every cursing teammates out when they make a mistake or blaming anyone when things go wrong
- Overall, he seemed to be a good teammate and very coachable, he grew a lot during the season
- The one time he got in trouble with the coaches was when he would audible out of runs to passes, but after a talking to it was resolved
- Overall, the guy is a beast he never lost a game in high school while versing the best teams in Cali, Texas, Florida, etc.

Tate is ****y, flashy, and talented to sum it up. He belongs in Miami.

Don't be naive and think there is not a bidding war for him behind the scenes. He may come from money but programs are still going to do whatever it takes to get him on campus. This will be Manny D's most important recruiting battle of 2019. If Tate comes here it will be very telling of what to expect from recruiting in the future. At the end of the day, Tate is a star. The lure of South Beach and The U is going to be enough to pull him. Miami is going to be a problem next season, believe that.

That's not a given. There's a lot of ways to finesse the system and there's speculation that Tate is going to try and graduate early.

Regardless, u get him on campus. Period.

From what I read he is trying for a hardship waiver, not going the grad transfer route.

Season 2 is even better. Season 1 had more talented QBs but Season 2 had me like wow. Especially with Ol boy from Don Bosco they did him dirty

His Dad must work for Ed Hardy cause their entire family is a huge duesch

U SOLD ME! Sounds like a true cane and what Manny is looking for.

Bolden was such a HUGE move. Banda is a good coach. Every starter he had is going to the Nfl. Carter, Hall, and Bolden are next.
