Along with many others, I thought we might be finally turning the corner. A come-from-behind victory against Pitt, followed by beatdowns against FSU and UL made it seem like this team might be peaking at the the right time. We were about to close the regular season on a 5-game win streak, recruits were buying in, etc. BAT SINGALS WOOOHOOO.
And then we lost to FIU.
And we didn't just lose to our "little brothers", we got F^CKING embarrassed. The University of Miami was shut out for the entirety of the first half against a team that was trailing against New Hampshire at halftime. NEW F^CKING HAMPSHIRE. THE GAWD Butch Davis lost to Tulane by 28, Middle Tennessee by 33, and FAU by 30. They allow over 200 ypg on the ground, and PENOS thinks it's all good to run QB runs and pass plays on 4th and short.
IDGAF if the team was lethargic or whatnot, there is literally no excuse for this. Let's see how the slurpers turn this ****storm around.
This is a fireable offense. If this program still contains any source of pride (because apparently only former players and the fanbase care anymore), Diaz and staff should not be allowed to board the team bus back to campus. They should all be fired right on the f^cking spot and be placed in those medieval arm rests where fans get to throw **** at their faces all night long.
There's no sugarcoating it. This is the worst loss in the history of Miami Football.
WE LOST TO F^CKING FIU
Manny once said he had to eradicate the disease within the program. Well Manuela, you're the f^cking disease.
