Not scared, but I have absolutely no confidence in their ability to make the right decision. I can already see Mario, Chud or Schiano standing behind the podium talking about how great it is to be back. :11263365343_2b1651d
 
They've mucked up the last 3 hires big time. It would be naive to believe that they won't make an "oops" decision again...

Wisdom includes learning from past mistakes. We'll find out if there is any wisdom that exists with the decision makers....

I have my doubts....

I'm hopeful, but I don't trust the admin. There are probably 4 or 5 guys who would kill it here, and I'm worried we're gonna end up with more of the mid-major mindset.

I think they are gonna mess this up for the 4th time in a row

Names like Cristobal, Schiano, and Chud would not be appearing as frequently as they are if this school really knew what they were doing in this coaching search.

Watch how many times those three get mentioned as candidates for the other vacancies around college football.
 
What I don't know is if we can 'swing and miss' on a candidate. If we put the full court press on a savage and he turns us down, would be very difficult to go to plan B without having our tails between our legs...in other words, let's lock Butch down and move the fvck on.

Have you seen any of the other threads on page 1? We are all clearly scared that they are going to pick Mario, Chud, or Schiano.
 
Everyone who isn't retarded assumes UM and their myriad of incompetent BOT/AD factions will fck this up. This is exactly why I'm going to continue to be that consistent skeptical McDonald's cheeseburger about UM until UM proves me wrong.

I felt optimistic when Golden was fired Sunday. They supposedly ate between $4 million and $7 million to make the move now instead of waiting until the end of the season, which seemed like a sign they might finally understand that this program is on life support. Was encouraged when it was reported we may be willing to spend $4 million per year on the next hire.

But all the talk about Chud and Cristobal has restored my complete lack of confidence in this administration to do anything right by this program. We are f*****.
 
They're not gonna make the right decision. There's too many voices vying for different coaches and there isn't s central figure that can shut all that noise out.

We needed a good AD to navigate this search and we don't have one.
 
I don't understand why you dudes are letting these clowns that just toss names out. Even get at you in the 1st place. They are just trying to get bites and seem like they have sauces.
