Are these kids that tranfer out of their neighborhoods to play at private schools or loaded schools more susceptible to no longer have loyalty for the home team? I mean it makes sense that once youve moved on from your hood during high school, youve already pretty much stated that playing at a place thats "better" for your career or a "business move," is a priority above puttin on for your hood... I know its not a blanket statement but just a thought.

Putting on for your hood is a rare commodity these days. 99% of student athletes now a day make their decisions based on what will get them to the next level or the best chance to make it in life. The exposure, coaching/training, playing time availability are big factors when making a decision. Sometime little playing time but being trained by the best gives them their best chance. Sometime it's the exposure for the talent already there. Sadly not many even care what the title school on that degree will get you later in life.

To bad most street agents/handlers don't see this. They can't think far enough ahead and only see the availability today.

Them dodge chargers only last So many miles.

I think when you start hearing how great you are and how you are needed at Columbus, Saint Thomas, etc at an early age (7-8 grade) you start to become entitled, selfish and think your sh..t doesn't stink. It becomes part of who you are. Thats where parents must keep the kid grounded and humble, but if the family unit is not there its yet another issue.

They go to these schools and see their classmates showing up in fancy new cars, pockets full of money and great looking es hanging on them because of it.They wonder why not them.

It’s natural for a young guy to want the same so when you have a school like Baga showing up with bags that will give you that opportunity you jump at it...Jobe jumped.

Dalvin Cook and his family is full of Miami Central pride, and full blown Cane fans. Yet all Cook and his butt buddy Phillips went to FSU while lil Cook leaving the state.
