Seems the NIL has created parity as I watch so many walkover teams from the past winning against what historically should be power teams. Alabama, Notre Dame, Clemson, Texas struggle and look today as Wake Forest pounds GT, Duke way up on Syracuse (not saying GT or Syracuse are power houses but they have played well and Duke and Wake normally would be dogs )or like Vandy last year winning against Bama. When Ohio States played Texas both looked rarher pedestrian. Is this a gamblers nightmare or sweet dream? I'm glad I don't gamble I'd be losing my butt off.
We would not be ranked without our NIL players so my hate for NIL has diminished. Yes we recruit well but recruiting has always been a gamble. Dabo is discovering he was wrong. I thank Manny as he really got us engaged deeply early into NIL drafting early when he was here and looks like he's utilized it to build Duke. Thank God we are more attractive for NIL then many colleges. I'd bet that since NIL started we probably have benefited the most. Our mix of patches via NIL and Florida recruits is ideal. I'll just keep printing rosters and looking up numbers to learn who's who as we win games.
