Running back Brandon Stephens (Plano, Texas) and his mother spoke with Georgia running backs coach Dell McGee and an assistant from USC this morning.

Stephens re-opened his recruitment from Stanford late last night.

Stephens picked up Twitter followers from Miami, Georgia and Arizona State this morning as well.

Stephens may take an official visit this weekend. The destination is still being discussed among his family.

As a senior, Stephens rushed for 1,389 yards including a 6.3 yards per carry average and 15 touchdowns.

Stephens carries a 3.4 core GPA and holds a 23 ACT score.

The 6-foot-1, 205-pounder runs a 4.4-second 40-yard dash.

He's ranked as the nation's No. 20 running back by 247Sports.com Composite Rankings.

I feel like we could have got Whaley if they really wanted to, not sure if they would seriously pursue this kid.

Yeah, no kidding.

If you want a fast guy who's only averaging 5ypc, then go after Amir Rasul.

If he's that athletic and getting that YPC, something is wrong.
 
Definitely didn't look 4.4 with the defenders getting angles on him and not easily pulling away. Also looks like he's jogging half the time.....i don't know how to take that.

I see an athlete playing RB. Reminds me of Ty Montgomery.

I wouldn't take rasul either he won't be a every down back at FSU they might just use him for sweeps (because lord knows he doesn't move laterally)
