Walton has impressed this year no question. Though the competition hasn't been good - he has solidified his position as the top back. I still expect Yearby & Gus to get a decent percent of thecarries - Walton appears to be the real deal. He broke a few tackles going his way to that 80 yarder and I had to rewind that TD that he dived like 7 yards into the endzone. He had a sick spin move 2 weeks in a row too.

The 3.5 yards a carry was being harped on far too much.
There is no way you could watch that kid as a TRUE FRESHMAN, last season and not think he was ferocious.

Dude isnt a special athlete but ,mentally, he is what you want out of your runningback. My man is fearless and tough as nails.

Way tougher than dalvin "icant" cook.

Gus hasn't been getting a very many carries I don't know why you expect him to suddenly start getting more burn. It's clearly Walton and Yearby. Unless one of those two gets banged up or we're up big Gus won't be playing much.

He also does it all out of the backfield. A complete back. He blocks reasonably well, is very good catching the ball out of the backfield, can power run when needed, has good vision, good speed, and decent wiggle. He's definitely asserted himself and grabbed the #1 back role.

Walton looked faster than Duke out there on the 80 yard run... he was running away from them. He DEFINITELY has increased his speed and explosion. Initially I wasn't high on walton as a running back considering his performance last year. Thought he had great hands but he couldn't run in between the tackles. I'm glad I was wrong...

It should have been clear who our best back was to anyone who rewatched the Duke game from last year. Walton was breaking long runs the kept getting called back, while Yearby was tripping over his own feet and getting ankle tackled...

Walton looked very explosive......Yearby is a great change up tho...he doesn't need much space to make something happen.....Gus could hit it a little harder.....the talent is definitely there.

What's your evaluation of his performance from last year?

Mainly didn't see the speed that he has shown this year and his ypc was really bad. But you probably can chalk that up to his coaches and how the oline played last year.
You ready for the bucs show today?

Ok. You saved yourself with the chalk it up to coaching and oline. I thought that was obvious.

And you already know it's a Bucs life over here. Zona big receivers kinda worries me but if Kwon, or Levonte comes out and punches Palmer in face face early will will handle them. Name one lb tandem better then ours in the league.

Yeah I feel the bucs have talent everywhere except at our safety position.
