Rayshawn Jenkins coming back

Jenkins didn't have a great year but he has been here four years so he might be ready to graduate. I think it's great to have him back, and with good coaching hope we'll see improvement. He's always has a pretty good knack for the ball.

Jenkins IMO can be a really good safety. He seems to have good instincts. I think his problem is he relies off physical abilities and maybe doesn't study enough tape. He strikes me as a guy that goes for the big play every time instead of making the routine play.

You can talk all about talent and potential and coaching all day but the one simple obvious fact is that the kid is a scared/poor tackler. Ideally he is a kid who plays on passing downs or against teams who pass all the time. He seems to have a good eye for INTs.

I totally agree Jenkins is very good in pass coverage and horrible at run support and Jamal Carter is the opposite great in run support and horrible in pass coverage. To me Jaquan Johnson is more of a complete safety and will be starting next year.

Sort of what I was saying too. Except I didn't insert against the pass. Good assessment. He is a FS though IMO so that is sort of what he is supposed to be good at.

In a perfect world you have safeties that are good at both run and pass.
