he list of 15 Modern-Era Finalists for the Pro Football Hall of Fame's Class of 2018 features five players who are finalists for the first time. The group includes four first-year eligible nominees - Steve Hutchinson, Ray Lewis, Randy Moss, and Brian Urlacher. Everson Walls, in his 20th year of eligibility, is also a first-time finalist.

The 15 Modern-Era Finalists will be considered for election to the Hall of Fame when the Hall's Selection Committee meets on "Selection Saturday" in Minneapolis the day before Super Bowl LII to elect the new class. The Modern-Era Finalists were determined by a vote of the Hall's Selection Committee from a list of 108 nominees that was earlier reduced to 27 semifinalists, during the year-long selection process.

Ray should be a 20 second discussion to get his yellow jacket

I get the feeling that Edge will have to wait a few more years....

I'm really pulling for Edge to get in, Terrell Davis got in last year and his career on par with his or better if you look at the numbers, Edge lead the league in rushing his first two years in the NFL before suffering a knee injury.

Edge of the only RB this year. Hopefully, that helps him this time around.

Consummate pro that should be in.

Ray and B Lach most likely won’t even be discussed....pretty sure after they retired, the NFL secretly gave them yellow jackets to hold for five years. Rooting for Edge and think he eventually gets in, but not now. Same w Issac Bruce. TO should get in along w Hutchinson, Moss and Ty Law, imo.

Moss is probably a lock. Most talented WR ever, and second best numbers to Rice. TO was a cancer on every team he played and I would not be surprised if he was held back for quite awhile.

Urlacher is close, but Ray gets the automatic bid at LB. Not that there’s a position limit.

As a Bucs fan I’d love to see John Lynch finally get the votes after a few years as a Finalist.

And...I am surprised Jerry Kramer isn’t already in the HOF. I would have assumed all the great Lombardi Packers from the 60s were in.

Moss got shipped out from 3 teams as well for attitude/locker room issues, my issue with Moss is him saying that he plays when he wants to and there's footage of him loafing out on the field, say what you will about T.O. but that guy gave it 100% every time and played like a beast with a barely healed broken leg in the super bowl, I'd let T.O. in before Moss
