I know most don't care where we land but it does matter in some effect to this program and this weekend could prove to be glorious in moving up.
First off
Tennessee #1 7 . Struggles majorly with Ohio after struggling with app state, a team that we just dominated. I know the transitive property doesn't exist when talking matchups but it very much does exist in rankings. We should be ahead, meeting in the middle
Alabama #1 vs Ole **** #1 9
Ole miss down three now. They would have two losses, one loss against fsu that just got smoked. They would be out. So far two spots up
Nebraska up against 22 Oregon. Oregon would drop from rankings and Nebraska wouldn't have enough to be ahead of us with their resume so far. Beating a team in the teens will get you but nesting a team 20-25 gets you 24th or 25th usually. If Nebraska holds on we are 3 up
North Dakota state beat #1 3 Iowa. Iowa will be unranked guaranteed. 4 up
Ohio state #3 vs #1 4 Oklahoma. If Oklahoma loses they will be late 20's or out. No way a two loss Oklahoma team is ahead of us. Regardless of who they played. 5 up
Lsu #20 vs Mississippi state. Not likely but it could happen, lsu starting new qb tonight
Auburn vs #1 7 Texas A&M
Sumlin is good to blow a game or two like this a season
#1 2 Michigan state vs #1 8 notre Dame.
If notre Dame wins I think Michigan state will be ahead of us still.. But if Michigan state wins notre lame will be unranked with two losses
.#1 6 Georgia vs unranked Missouri
Missouri is being picked by some becuase of Georgia sloppy play. If so I think Georgia falls below us. Not sold on this upset though
#1 1 Texas vs cal
I fully expect Cal to win this game. Even have money on it. Media loves Texas though so they may still be ranked higher than us if so
I know it's a long shot people but this weekend has a ton of matchups that are coin flips and could shape the season for a lot of teams. I would not surprised to see us 17-20 tomorrow at 2pm
