Randy Edsall's Salary, Butch Davis

I think UM will offer Butch something fair and reasonable. The deal breaking will probably be how much they give him to assemble a decent staff. Butch has always had quality coaches around him. Unlike AG, Butch doesnt surround himself with 'recruiters' and assume talent will develop itself. During the UNC scandal, a coach like John Blake (UNC's DLine coach at the time) was one of the highest paid assistants in the game. I cant see Butch wasting his time with a school that committed to winning championships. I mean, isnt that the reason every coach has left UM is the past?
 
There are bonus salary escalators for Folden as well. He just doesn't achieve any of them!!

Randy Edsall earns $2.11M in base salary with a possible 950k in bonuses.

Thats roughly $3M in a season with decent results. If thats what they pay Edsall, im assuming they'll offer Butch as much or more(if they offer him).

Golden made $2.54M last year.

Just some food for thought.

If true, that ***** wants the Miami job over any other. He would take a good salary with enough money room to hire the coaches he wants.. IF he wants the Miami job over any other..
Either way AG must go!
