NJ- 8.9 million people with 63 NFL players (6th in NFL, 11th in population)
FL - 19.9 million people with 186 NFL players (2nd in NFL, 3rd in population)

"it's why Miami has more championships than Rutgers."
Rutgers would be good if they could keep the talent at home. Same problems that Miami is starting to experience.

"Golden and his crew must have realized. "
Golden's crew is diverse with his assistants coming from all over the country including 3 Miami guys (Kehoe, Ice, Hurlie) a Tampa guy (Scott) and an FSU guy (Coley).

Golden is not a South Florida guy. This has got to be Coley, Ice, Brown, Kehoe's, and Scott's turf. Golden's links are to NJ and he can pull the top guys to come to us. It's not a bad pipeline to have and it is not one that I would be hating on. If Golden was actually a good coach and we were winning, people would be liking this pipeline.

How many South Florida misses have there been in the last 4 years where we didn't extend an offer? Skai Moore, Quincy Wilson, Mckenzie

Nobody is buying AG bull**** these days he is all used up. He is 6 and 6 after 4 years all that stuff of trending up is over with. We will not land near the talent with AG in charge I don't care who you got recruiting for you, The scheme sucks , Facilities suck and the coaches suck what can they offer these kids. People stfu about trying to sell academics because most don't care

Don't use stats and facts, people get mad over here for stuff like that.

In the middle of your last paragraph you wrote:

1) Kly Hester proved to be a bust. He didn't want to compete.

2) Olsen proved to be a bust. Please don't tell me he had his off field issues. It's the coaches job to motivate and keep his players focused. Golden has failed at that during his time here.

3) Top players? Really? Top players? Well I guess you know something we don't and both Minkah Fitzpatrick and Brandon Wimbush will be in this class soon. Those are top NJ players. Those are also top players that WONT COME! Golden doesn't get top players. He is getting projects from NJ- guys he thinks he will develop into stars because he thinks he's a good coach and they have good character. Get out of here with that. To be successful at Miami you have to recruit Miami. Even the kids who aren't stars here, turn out to be stars at the next level.

Wilson over Hester every day. I say this, even though I can't stand Quincy's attitude.

Before I close. I know you're gonna bring up Courtel. Awesome. Great pickup. Proving to be a good player so far. It's only year 1. Even him though, if we could have kept Valentine, wouldn't be needed. Again, Florida ballers over Jersey boys.

Golden has no pipeline. Anywhere.

Edit: Don't let me forget about Feder, boys. Lost him to OSU. Urban takes this clown lunch money in NJ, FLA (Johnny Dixon, Torance Gibson)- everywhere.

i knew olsen was gonna suck when he was interviewed at under armor game with burns and he was talking about how the speed of the game was something new to him. he seemed like he was intimidated.

Kinda nullifies your whole post.

Quincy and his dad were winy butches last year but the issue here is the fat slob if an HC making calls on who to offer

he tried. that's the point. he tried. He got brandon powell there.

Not sure I would crown him for that. Brandon was frustrated with the UM administration and had always wanted to go to UF from what read about him. Not sure what Quincy's role was in his recruitment but I'm sure Powell didn't go there to play with him.

Powell was an FSU guy idiot

Wanna calm down there with the name calling bud.

Who ****ed in your cheerios this morning?

Pretty dumb thing to call a guy an idiot over lol.

And Powell was all set to be a Cane, but our admissions held him up a few days from reporting in Jan, so he switched to UF that did not require the class or some ****.

Had absolutely nothing to do with ***** A$$ Quincy Wilson.

You sound like a typical bandwagon fan who started following the team in 2002.

I really got mad at this kid last year. Now i see he is trying to get Scarlett to UF and he helped get Powell there. U know what, he was the son of a cane and he was passed over for mayes (who might be good) and hester who left asap to go home. Wilson was worth a shot. He is kind of kid that would have been recruiting everyone to come to the U.

Like he did Cook and Lane

sigh that chad was the least productive out of everyone in this picture

Yet, is still likely to make the most money in the NFL.

My points were made to the guy bashing NJ talent in trying to bring some balance and discussion to this board that doesn't have to do with Golden. It's about recruiting different areas of the country. God forbid we recruit someone from out of state anymore, and the hates starts breeding on here. I mean, Kaaya was from South Florida, right? Miami Dade/Broward players have ALSO been busting for us at a high rate since 2007. This goes back to Randy years.

You want to talk about all the Miami-Dade, Broward busts that Randy brought in or recruited heavily (didn't pass admission). Did you forget about them or are you just selectively picking your arguments? Since 2007: Doug Wiggins, Joe Wylie, Pimp, Davon Johnson (good, but underachieved his recruiting rating), Brandon Marti, Marcus Forston (top DT in country to undrafted), Aldarius Johnson, Benjamin Jones, Kendall Thompkins, David Perry, Keion Payne, Thomas Finnie, Clements (solid but underachieving). Without putting on the blinders, that's a seriously high fail rate for recruits in South Florida for us. If you look at the Palm Beach recruits since then, it doesn't get any better. Randy's strategy of locking down Dade/Broward proved to be unsuccessful in terms of bringing the program back. Is it the players? the coaching? the admin? the program? **** stadium?or just bad luck in recruiting? I feel we could win with a South Florida team, but why hasn't it ever been done?

What has worked is you take the best player available, do your character checks, not matter where he is from. A lot of our All-time great character players were out of state (Reed, Wayne, DJ William, Kelly, Kennedy, Testaverde, Dorsey, almost all our top TE's, etc). I don't see why this should change moving forward?

If you try to bring out any points for discussion anymore, it turns into a ******* Al Golden (slurper vs. he's the enemy) debate. Do I have to say that I want Golden gone on every thread I write? But once he's gone, then what? What's the plan?
