So all of our out of conference big games have been on the road the last couple years. No excuses to get blown out but why so many away?

We played K- State home and away. We played, Florida at home (return game for 2008). We played Notre Dame at a "neutral" site (yes, I know it was in Chicago). We played Ohio State home and away (home under Golden, away under Shannon). We play at Nebraska this year, but they come here next year. There is plenty to complain about, but this is not one of those things.

I think you are just remembering the road games more. We've had a fairly consistent mix of good home/away games.

We historically played 2 good non conference games per year. If the FSU / VA Tech games were at home then the non conference was on the road and visa versa. It was pretty consistent until the ACC had VA Tech make a second straight trip to Miami last year and we stopped scheduling the tough second non conference game.

only thing OP may be thinking of is that when we get the home games, the opponents seem to blow that year..

ie Oklahoma, Ohst, UF. All had horrible years the seasons we got them at home.

insert (of course they were horrible, they lost to us) joke

My concern is when we begin to play in multiple homecoming games each year. thats when you know we are truly a pile of ****. Hope we never get to that point but with AG and company...anything is possible

Haha.. Some good answers. We have played teams out of conference at home the year they were average and or just flat out sucked. Golden thought he won the a Orange Bowl after UF last year. Looking at it now is kind of embarrassing. Don't get me wrong, it's always great to beat the Gators but they turned the ball over and over to us.
