Tried searching for the thread but couldn't find it. I remember reading about a WR that was coming to UM for track but was also looking to join the football team as a walk on. I can't remember his name and was wondering if he ever ended up enrolling at UM, and whether there's any chance he might still go out for the football team. Kid was undersized but fast as lighting.

He's definitely coming to Miami, but on a Track scholarship (is an elite 60m and 100m sprinter).

Doesn't seem like he'll be playing football, at least his freshman year though

Brandon Taylor I talked to him on twitter. He said not this year but next he will be playing.

Makes sense. He really needs a year in the weight room. As fast as he is, he's just too small to do anything other than return kicks now

Hope he doesn't play football unless he's actually going to make a difference, otherwise he'd be a waste of a scholly. I think it's stupid how if any athlete plays football their scholly automatically gets subtracted from football.

He can certainly contribute in the retrn game. That boy laughs at angles .

He would only switch over to Football if he plays in a game. So I would think Richt would be smart enough to only play him if he's going to legit help. He's not going to put him on punt coverage and that's it lol.

Yes taylor. Thats good to hear he is UM bound. Hope he eventually finds his way to the gridiron.

I'm pretty sure it's dependent on if he was recruited at all for football. If he was recruited then practicing with the football team would automatically put him on football scholarship, not just playing in a game.
