My thought when they kept OSU at 2 and Georgia at 3 was that they were setting Miami up at 10. 2 vs 3 is largely irrelevant but drives the selection of the bowl game. I think they purposely avoided OSU having the orange bowl against Miami. Since they were 2 they get the choice of bowl location prior to georgia.
