This hurt guys. It sucks, but open your view that this loss is in the beginning of a long season - a season that can end really well. Don't spend your powder on this to the extent that you for get that.

Some facts:

• Too many sacks
• Too many penalties
• Too many mistakes especially the muffed punt
• We played #8 and we were supposed to get routed
• The gators simply had more plays left against a green O line
• We won the game 3 different times
• The turds won it 4 times

I’m not worried about him holding the ball after game 1. If he’s still doing it in game 4 or 5 it’s a legit problem. I thought he could have tucked it and ran a few more time than he did. He made some nice passes and looked strong for a guy with 3 pass attempts and was under siege all night.

Be cautious saying we have a QB. We said the same thing about Perry last year and he sucked. Jarren has great potential but I hope he doesn’t fall into whatever Perry was doing last year. Zero turnovers from Jarren which was nice to see tho.

Until late in the 4th he was getting the ball out his hands fast. As you pointed out, he got mugged.

Play the tape of Perry in his first start against a horrible defense at home and then play the tape of Jarren in his first start on the road against a very good defense. There is no comparison.

There was absolutetly no pocket for Jarren Williams to manage! Turn on the film, tell me how many time our O line gave Jarren Williams 3 seconds of protection or a clean pocket? As soon as you come up with a number also tell me how many passes Jarren completed.
