I fully agree Richt needs to get more innovative on O. The playbook needs to evolve. What also needs to happen is we get a competent QB and a more consistent Oline.

This all falls back on Richts shoulders but it is evident we don't have a QB who can compete against above average Defenses. You can ***** about scheme all day which definitely is a piece of the problem but personnel is lacking heavily at QB as well.

You just cant ignore the personnel issue most notably at QB:

Rosier is not an accurate passer and has a hard time reading defenses. Handcuffed

Perry while way more talented is still young, lacks ball security in the pocket, makes bad decisions, ohh and he also cant read a defense. ****ed

Unless Deejay Dallas starts taking more snaps this offense isn't going to change over night with new plays.

We have the players we have. The OC’s job is to work within the limitations of those players. Instead our OC obviously doesn’t bother to game plan, instead using a small number of plays not suited to his players. What Richt has done is insulting to anybody who cares about this program.

Giving him a pass because he doesn’t have ideal talent in certain spots is as lazy as Richts approach to his offense.

And yes, the O would change overnight w a different philosophy.

The DJ wildcat won't give us anything this year - it's another grab bag play. But, I agree on your other comment - we have the plays we have. Are we all of a sudden going to call different plays? Maybe a few new wrinkles here or there but the coaches are still going to call the plays they've always called and somehow expect our team to miraculously start executing.

Going Wildcat with DJ wouldn't do much of anything, as the offensive line will still be getting pushed back in most cases, leading to the play's failure.

I think we can be effective with relatively simple plays, if that is indeed all we have, but we need to start deploying those plays in a more intelligent manner, finding the soft spots in the defense and attacking them. I don't know who is ultimately at fault for not recognizing what the defense is doing......the QBs or Richt, but it needs to change.

OP out here looking fvckin' ridiculous, b.

CoRch Rix is the CEO/OC. Every single issue on this team begins with him.

He's in the middle of year 3 here, and almost 20 years overall as a CEO.

Wake up OP.
