I mean our ST are bad but FSU were not much better.... both missed FG's, both had big returns, both had dumb penalties
 
On one of the returns we had 5 players standing near the guy who caught it - not sure if it was the one that was returned or a different one.

But that didn't look very good for us. At all.

Maybe Soldinger will visit for a weekend or two.

My thoughts on that play was the runner faked Knowles into thinking it was a fair catch. He stood there for a moment and when Knowles stood straight up right beside him is when he took off Knowles standing there like little boy lost.
 
Nope. The guy caught it on after two bounces so it wasn't a "fake" fair catch. He just ran down there and whiffed taking a bad angle. Returner proceeds to run down the sidelines untouched.

If this doesn't make richt bring in a STs only coach I dont know what will...

Having a full time STs coach would have prbly helped this offseason with him saying "Richt we need to find a punter feagles isnt the dude" and having the coverage unit ready to go... not having guys like Gilbert, Hall, Lingard, etc playing STs this year is mind blowing! get them boys some burn and let them crack heads!!
 
I’m not gonna bash a kid, but if you look at the replay, #20 misses the returner twice, He’s the first one down on the return and misses the kid, then he hustles back and at the tail end of the play misses him again. Tough play.
 
Knowles ******* sucks! He was in position to make a play and he didn’t. Go make a ******* play! He plays like he’s in quick sand. What else does he have to show that he shouldnt be playing at all. We have too many DT’s on punt return coverage as well. We don’t need Bethel and DJack on coverage. No reason not to have someone like Joyner on there, D Smith, Finley, Hall, Gil, etc. this **** has to change
 
My biggest wonder is why do I feel like Steed and Jennings aren't on special teams. I am gonna have to rewatch and see but I don't think they are
