This one game will not make/break the hiring of Manolo Diaz. It will though go a long way to appeasing Canes fans against a bitter rival who we have the utmost hatred for. Manny getting the team focused on truly one game at a time, winning the ACC Coastal and a great showing (didn’t say win) against what will be Clemson is where expectations should be for Diaz and Co. We should be able to do that and make a NY6 bowl. We win that game and Manny brings in a Top 10 recruiting class and he will have done his job successfully in Year 1.

Agreed.

Sets us up nice for the rest of the year and going into bowl and recruiting season.

But this game doesn’t make or break manny as a coach. It doesn’t dictate if the U is ‘back’ or not. It’s a very important game...but it’s one game.
