I've always said it's not about winning and losing as much as how we played and this team put out tremendous effort last night, an effort to be proud of. I'm sure if we played them 10 times we would win 9. Also consider that Lofton would've made a difference and having to play one extra game to get to last night has to be considered injury and stresswise. Except for the int...what can be said, it was as if the Indiana player was running the route and there were so many red shirts I wonder why he even threw it there. But that's football and one lousy play in such a close contest is the difference between winning and losing. I love this team and they stretched the season to the maximum number of games with great effort and skill.
Am I disappointed, absolutely but NOT at our team. I thought during the first half especially the play calling was not our best. I also am sure that the Indiana player that got smacked deserved it because Mark loves his teammates and is a class act and I can imagine that the player struck a nerve after a terrific effort by both sides. There are a zillion could've, should've, would've questions about play calls but it is what it is and IT'S GREAT TO BE A MIAMI HURRICANE.
Oh and we get Fletcher and Toney playing for us in 2026!
