The Browns finally fed Duke Johnson and Greg Olsen and Allen Hurns made highlight plays in Week 9's edition of the ProCanes NFL Recap.

In the Dolphins’ 13-6 win over the Jets, Frank Gore hit another milestone on Sunday. With his 20 carries and 53 yards, he passed Barry Sanders for 6th on the all-time list for yards from scrimmage with 18,196. Duke Johnson finally found the endzone, recording two of them through the air as part of his nine catches for 78 yards. The Browns’ RB also had one carry for eight yards. The Texans defeated the Broncos, but Lamar Miller had a somewhat tough day on the ground, recording 21 yards on 12 carries to go along with two catches for 27 receiving yards.

In a win over the Seahawks, Chargers WR Travis Benjamin was targeted once but did not record a catch. The Patriots’ Phillip Dorsett caught three passes against the Packers for 30 yards. And in the Monday night spotlight, Cowboys’ WR Allen Hurns hit Titans CB Malcolm Butler with the nastiest of double moves to free open for a 23-yard TD catch.

Cam Newton’s favorite target Greg Olsen had a fantastic day, catching 6 passes for 76 yards along with an incredible one-handed touchdown catch that looked very Odell Beckham Jr.-esque. In the Sunday night matchup vs. the Patriots, Jimmy Graham had four catches for 55 yards and one touchdown. The Browns’ David Njoku continued his steady season, catch four passes for 53 yards in a loss to the Chiefs. In his first game back in the stadium he called home for four years, the Jets’ Chris Herndon had his touchdown streak snapped. However, he did record a career-high 62 yards in a loss to the Dolphins.

The Chiefs had very little trouble defeating the Browns on Sunday, as Allen Bailey played a key role with a four tackles. In a huge divisional win over the Ravens, Anthony Chickillo recorded four tackles with one tackle-for-loss for the Steelers.

The Chargers’ Denzel Perryman contributed four key tackles in a huge win over the Seahawk.

We had not seen a peep of Deon Bush since the first week of the season, but the Bears’ 3rd-year safety recorded one tackle in a 41-9 win over the Bills.

Matt Bosher had a very light day of work on Sunday against the Redskin with only two punts for 103 yards in Washington. The Bears’ Pat O’Donnell had another outstanding performance in a blowout win over Buffalo with five punts for 200 yards, landing four of those punts inside the 20.
In addition, one name who was making waves when the Chargers signed him just a few weeks ago was kicker Michael Badgley. Badgley had been playing relatively well in the absence of Caleb Sturgis. Badgley was cut immediately once Sturgis returned to full health, and once he cleared waivers, the Chargers opted to place him on the practice squad. After Sturgis had a tough outing this past Sunday, the Chargers cut him on Monday and opted to bring back Badgley onto the active roster.
