2028 Prince Che 5* DT from Thomasville, GA (Thomas County Central HS)

Extended discussion by @DMoney, Geo and Ahmonn about Prince on today's podcast. Apparently he put us in his Top 6 in a Hayes Fawcett edit (which I can't find).

Neither D$ or Geo were familiar with him.

 

Favorites inside Che’s top 15​

While all 15 schools remain in contention, Che pointed to six programs recruiting him especially hard entering the fall.

“Texas A&M, Oklahoma, Miami, Georgia, Florida and Ohio State stand out,” Che said. “I have visited all those schools except for Ohio State. With them, it is about player development under Coach Johnson. I want to get there for a game.”

What about the Aggies and Longhorns have his attention?

“I have great relationships with head coach Mike Elko and defensive line coach Elijah Robinson. Those are big for me.

“With Texas, it is about Coach Baker. He has a reputation of developing defensive linemen.”

It is very similar for the Gators and Bulldogs.

“I have worked out with Coach Chatman and I really like him and Coach Sumrall. They are good on defense.

“Georgia is basically built for defensive linemen. It is DLU, and Coach Scott is a great coach.”

That weather down South has the Hurricanes on his mind.

“Miami’s player development and electric game-day atmosphere stand out. I like the area and energy down in South Florida.”
 
They play Lee County in two weeks. That’s probably game of the year (or most hyped game) down in South Georgia. Both teams I think are top 5, maybe top 3 in their class rankings and play in the same region.
